Effective 11 July 2026
Privacy policy
SIP is designed to work without an account, advertising, analytics, or a server. Your hydration data stays on your Android device.
Information you enter
SIP lets you record drink type, amount, and time. It also stores your daily goal, display preferences, reminder schedule, and whether a goal notification has been shown. This information is saved locally in the app's private storage.
Collection and sharing
SIP does not transmit personal or sensitive data to Hasan Shoaib or any third party. SIP does not use analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, authentication, cloud storage, or tracking SDKs. Android backup is disabled for SIP's app data.
Permissions
- Notifications: optional, requested only when you enable reminders, and used for hydration reminders and goal-reached notifications.
- Run after device restart: used to restore reminders you chose after your device restarts.
You can deny notification permission and continue using SIP's tracking features. You can also turn reminders off in SIP's settings or change notification access in Android settings.
Retention and deletion
Your data remains on your device until you delete individual entries, clear SIP's storage in Android settings, or uninstall SIP. Because SIP has no account or server, there is no remote account data to request or delete.
Children
SIP is a general-audience wellbeing tool and is not directed to children under 13. SIP does not knowingly collect information from children or anyone else.
Health disclaimer
SIP provides personal tracking for general wellbeing. It does not provide medical advice and is not a medical device. Hydration needs differ between people. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about your individual needs or symptoms.
Changes
If SIP's data practices change, this policy and the Google Play Data safety disclosure will be updated before the changed version is released.
Contact and support
Questions about this policy or SIP can be submitted through the public support page.
